The EU sanctioned Avaee Seyyd Ali-Reza for human rights violations in October 2011.[1] According to the Official Journal of the European Union, as President of Tehran Judiciary Ali-Reva has been involved in “human rights violations, arbitrary arrests, denials of prisoners’ rights and increase of executions.”[2]
