The Lynde and Harry Bradley Foundation is pleased to sponsor the Foundation for Defense of Democracies/Hudson Institute day-long conference titled “The U.S.-Israel Relationship: Twenty Years after Oslo.” The conference will explore the value and strategic importance of the U.S.-Israel relationship. Discussions will focus on the diverse and growing challenges facing the two nations ranging from attempts to isolate and delegitimize Israel at the United Nations to Iran’s nuclear ambitions to the dramatic shifts taking place as a result of the Arab Spring.

On Thursday, September 22, 2011, the Foundation for the Defense of Democracies hosted a panel discussion on the anticipated Palestinian unilateral declaration of statehood at the United Nations. Participants included FDD’s vice president of research, Dr. Jonathan Schanzer; FDD senior fellow Emanuele Ottolenghi; and Al Hayat’s Washington correspondent, Joyce Karam. Moderating the panel was Cliff May, President of FDD.
