FDD Experts and Conference Calls
 Every day brings news that makes headlines and leads the nightly newscasts, yet traditional news sources only skim the surface. Get the full story and understand its implications for you and our nation's security. As a policy institute with broad expertise on the issues that concern you most, FDD will provide you with access to FDD's veritable brain trust of experts in foreign affairs, public policy, democracy-building, and counterterrorism.

Invitations to FDD's "Leading Thinkers" Conference
 As a trustee you will also receive an invitation for you and a guest to attend FDD's "Leading Thinkers" Conference at a beautiful resort in the Bahamas.
You will meet leading experts from the United States, Europe, Israel, and the Middle East at our informal two-day workshop to discuss and select issues pertinent to the war against terrorism and the fight for democracy.
Past speakers and attendees have included Henry A. Crumpton, the former chief of the State Department's counterterrorism office and a key strategist in the war in Afghanistan; David Aaron, director of the RAND Center for Middle East Public Policy; Paula Dobriansky, U.S. undersecretary of state for democracy and global affairs; Steven Krasner, director of public policy for the U.S. State Department; Bernard Lewis, Clevland E. Dodge Professor Emeritus of Near Eastern Studies at Princeton University; Uri Lubrani, advisor to the Israeli minister of defense and former Israeli ambassador; Bill Kristol, The Weekly Standard editor; Gideon Rose, managing editor of Foriegn Affairs; Bret Stephens, editorial writer and "Global View" columnist for The Wall Street Journal; and scores of other government officials, policy experts, and journalists.
Books, Documentaries, and Publications
FDD Trustees will recieve copies of books published in by staff and fellows at FDD as well as documentaries, research reports, and white papers. Many FDD experts are best-selling authors whose earlier books have been updated and will be released in paperback.

FDD Trustees will be invited to be our special guest at our full calendar of special events. Specifically, you will be invited to attend all FDD conferences, congressional hearings on Capitol Hill featuring FDD officials, private FDD dinners, press conferences both here and in Europe, book parties, and book signings with FDD authors, and other FDD events.
Insider Edition of the Newsletter
Stay informed with insider information. As a trustee, you will receive an elite version of the FDD newsletter sent every week via e-mail. Your special edition will contain confidential insider information as well as updates on FDD programs and activities.
Opportunity to Become an FDD Board Member
Trustees can join FDD's Board of Directors by raising an additional $90,000. Recruit other people to become trustees supporting our noble cause and you will be eligible to be an FDD board member -- part of FDD's leadership team of visionary business leaders and policymakers who help set our priorities and strategies. Arrange a meeting of prospective trustees and we will be there to help you make the case.
