Authorities Focus on Threat of ‘Wolf Pack’ Attackers


Daveed Gartenstein-Ross, a senior fellow at the conservative think tank Foundation for the Defense of Democracies, said to expect copy-cat attacks after the killings in Paris.

“But it's hard to say for sure when. There’s not a set pattern,” he said.

The change in tactic calls for security forces and counterterrorism organizations to rethink their approach, said Gartenstein-Ross, adding that radicalized fighters returning from Iraq and Syria pose one of the most serious threats and should be more closely tracked by law enforcement.
