US-Russia Tensions Can Be Resolved, Says Obama
LOS CABOS, Mexico—U.S. President Barack Obama said he is confident that "tensions" between the U.S. and Russia can be worked out.
Following a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Mr. Obama said the two leaders agreed on the need to build on areas where they have had success "even though there are areas of disagreement."
Mr. Obama has been seeking Russia's help in resolving the urgent crisis in Syria. He said the U.S. and Russia agree that a political process needs to be created in Syria in order to "prevent civil war."
