Date: November 2001 - March 2005

Deal: According to Petrofac's website, Petrofac Engineering & Construction signed a $265 million contract with Elf Petroleum Iran and joint venture partner Iran's Jahanpars in November 2001. The contract was for the Dorood onshore facilities and a new plant on Iran's main oil export terminal, Kharg Island. The project was completed in March 2005 (Petrofac Website, February 1, 2008).

Date: March 2004 - Unclear

Deal: Petrofac signed a contract of an undisclosed value with the South Pars Gas Company (SPGC), a subsidiary of the National Iranian Gas Company, "for maintenance, modifications and operations on the South Pars Phases 1 and 2," according to a London Stock Exchange prospectus. The deal was to last three years, with a two-year optional extension. It is unclear if the project was completed and whether the two year extension was implemented (London Stock Exchange Website, September 23, 2005).

U.S. Business Ties: Petrofac Ltd does not appear to have received any federal funding in the past 10 years, according to USASpending.gov (USASpending.gov, accessed August 2014).

Petrofac's company website states that the company has one office in the United States, located in Houston, Texas (Petrofac website, accessed June 30, 2010).
