The in-depth discussion will feature remarks by Sen. Mark Kirk (R-IL) and Rep. Ted Deutch (D-FL); and a conversation with Amb. Eric Edelman;  former Deputy Director General of the IAEA, Olli Heinonen; former senior advisor on Iran at the Department of State, Dr. Ray Takeyh; and FDD Executive Director and sanctions expert, Mark Dubowitz. BPC Foreign Policy Project Director Blaise Misztal will moderate the discussion.

These speakers will address, among other topics, the “check list” by which any deal should be judged; what role Congress can and should play in the final days before the deadline; how sanctions enforcement and smart relief can be structured to best strengthen a deal or enhance negotiation leverage in the case of any extension.
