Sanctions: European Union (March 23, 2012)

The European Union sanctioned Toraj Kazemi in March 2012 for human rights abuses in Iran. According to the Official Journal of the European Union, Kazemi launched a campaign to recruit computer hackers for the government in order to more closely monitor and/or attack websites the government deems threatening.[1]
